is critically wounded in a gunfight with Stefano's hitmen. He falls
for police secretary Nikki Wade (played until 1983 by Renée
Jones, now Lexie). |

| Abe
rescues Liz and Marlena from Stefano's clutches. Abe reluctantly arrests
Roman for his presumed involvement in the Raven Feather killings. |
| 1985: |

| Abe's
brother, Theo, a cop from New York, comes to Salem to infiltrate Savannah's
record company/drug operation. He is killed by the police chief, Richard
Cates. |
| 1989: |

| Abe
and Lexie wed. |
| 1990: |

and Lexie Move to Chicago. |
| 1991: |

| Abe
and Lexie return to town. |

Jonah vows to clean up the streets under the gues of The Pacifier.
Policewoman Lexie learns of Jonah's criminal activities, but keeps
quiet. Jonah leaves the hospital and Lexie is kicked off the force.
Lexie doesn't want to have kids because the world is too unsafe. |

learns that her Aunt Celeste is really her mother; Stefano DiMera
is her father. Abe is horrified to have his enemy as a father-in-law.
Abe and Lexie travel to Paris with John to save Marlena from Stefano. |

lets Stefano escape from prison in an effort to find a cure for a
dying Roman. |
| 1999: |

|
| Abe
and Lexie decide to start a family, but are faced with infertility
issues. Abe is struck by Brandon following a boxing match. |

is temporarily suspended from the force after Brandon brings a harassment
lawsuit against him. |

is reinstated to the force. |
